Structural Energetic Therapy® is a manual therapy that provides alignment of the entire body to ensure the best possible rehabilitation of the physical conditions that cause you pain, discoordination, and disequilibrium. This technique is a combination of cranial/structural techniques and specialized soft tissue protocols used to release torsion and imbalances to your body’s core and skull. This release is intended to restore balance, strength and function in your body and eyes for the long term.
About Structural Energetic Therapy
Core structural imbalances tend to be responsible for problems functioning at peak levels and can cause varying degrees of limitations and restrictions in posture and movement. It can also cause difficulty in using your eyes as a team with ease and comfort. Accidents, illness, stress, emotional challenges, injuries, and other life activities that cause your body to break down further, eventually lead to chronic pain and distress.
SET addresses the source of your pain first, bringing the rest of your body and skull into balance. These modalities include muscle testing, postural analysis, cranial/structural therapy, directed myofascial unwinding, stress release, acupressure, scar tissue and adhesion release, deep tissue massage and other therapeutic bodywork as needed.
This technique is often needed in conjunction with treating vision problems due to the close interweaving of visual perception and motor patterns that become
embedded in the body. If these patterns are not released, the vision problems are more likely to return.
